72 hours of training that will make you tougher, more resilient, and harder to beat.
Tactical Guardian Weekend (TGW) is an opportunity for men and women to up their game a bit. It is designed to be a casual, friendly, confidence-building weekend, incorporating these basic disciplines:
Shotgun for home defense
Tactical medicine, including hemorrhage control and how to use an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) for trauma care
Unarmed self-defense based on Krav Maga techniques
This event also includes many other fun things, like our bowling ball cannon, exploding targets, great food, and an awesome group of people. From time-to-time, we also add survival skill topics, such as “SERE” training for civilians, distillation for fuel alcohol, starting a fire from scratch, how to kill and prepare small game animals, and finding edible plants in the wild.
This is our 5th TGW event, and we continue to switch up content so that new attendees learn the basics while those who have attended in the past may improve their existing skills and learn new ones. If you have been before, we recommend you come back with a buddy!
If you register by April 1st, the early bird cost for this fun-filled weekend is only $400.00. After April 1st, the registration fee increases to $450.
The registration fee includes professional instruction, ammunition, weapons (if you need them), meals, and non-alcoholic beverages. Rustic camping spots are available at no extra cost, and anyone choosing to camp out must bring their own camping gear. Local hotels are available, but we recommend camping so that you are able to hang out by the fire and enjoy the fellowship and stories! Participants are encouraged to bring snacks and beverages of choice. You will be shooting outdoors, so you must also bring appropriate gear (sunscreen, rain gear, etc.) for the weather conditions. If you choose to bring your own ammunition instead of using ours, you must bring 9 mm, .223, .308, and 12 gauge.
The event starts at 3:00 pm Friday afternoon, so you will want to get there early to set up your camp. The event will begin with a safety and logistics briefing. Instruction and shooting will continue through Sunday at noon.
You may register by clicking "Register" in the menu bar above. Class size is limited, so early registration is encouraged. If you have questions, contact David at email@example.com or (803) 640-4791.
